If you had asked me about vellum a year and a half ago, I probably would have said, "gesundheit!" But vellum has become one of my favorite stationary materials to work with. It's so delicate and can be made to look modern or vintage. It's so versatile and perfect for place cards, invites, or even envelopes. I need to get some more products using vellum in my shop, but here are some torn edge place cards I created with white ink and brush calligraphy.
Want to see more vellum pieces? Visit the Etsy shop or drop me a line, and I can create something unique and beautiful for you.
I'm pretty excited because I am coming out with three Christmas Card designs in my Etsy shop. They are all minimal photo cards featuring modern style calligraphy. If you're keen on printing them yourself, there is a digital version for these you can purchase or if you're like, "hey girl, ain't nobody got time for that..." I feel you too, so I've made it where they come printed with envelopes right your doorstep. Easy peasy.
I know what you're thinking if you're like "whoa, it's only November, let's have Thanksgiving first." I'm with ya, I love Thanksgiving and totally want to celebrate that and continue all the fall vibes 'til then. BUT if you're thinking about sending out Christmas cards and wait 'til after Thanksgiving to 1. take your pictures 2. order the cards 3. address and send out all of your cards on top of all of the Christmas hustle and bustle that happens after Thanksgiving, then I give you some major props. I, personally, need to plan a little ahead just so I'm not running around like crazy lady all through December. I'm all about keeping it simple and stress free as possible.
Also, these cards are limited time only! They'll only be available until December 5th! So if you're looking to send out some Christmas Cards this year, and you're an early planner, I've got a coupon code for ya! Click below and enter your email address to receive 10% off your cards.
P.S. I used last year's Christmas Card photo (hence the longer hair) on one of the cards because I thought it would look nice with the writing, and this year's just so happens to be a very similar pose. I didn't notice that until I printed them.
