Happy March 1st!

The most effective way to do it, is to do it. —Amelia Earhart

I don’t know about where you live, but here in north GA, it’s been the rainiest and gloomiest winter. There have been a handful of sunny days in the past 3 months and each of those days, you suddenly don’t take the brightness and warmth for granted.

The weather has warmed up a bit which has caused some of our trees to start blooming with first hints of spring around the corner. And I am so ready for spring to come! The first day of spring is this month (the 20th!)

It’s also Women’s History Month, so don’t forget to thank the influential women in your life on the 8th!

I hope your days ahead are full of warmth and sunshine!

A thrill of hope.

There is something in the hoping, in the waiting, and the expecting that makes the month of December a bit more magical than the rest of the year.

When I was a child, I couldn’t wait for Christmas, it seemed like the longest month E V E R…

But as an adult, it all seems to fly by. My anticipation has been replaced with to-do lists on to-do lists, and the thrill has somewhat been diminished.

I know that there isn’t a way to get rid of the to-do lists, but I think there is something to be said about seeking balance between working and hustling and intentionally resting.

Free Printable: Thankfulness Calendar

I mentioned in my November Download Post that I was challenging myself to write down 3 things that I’m thankful for every day for the month of November.

According to studies like this, this or this one showing gratitude or expressing thanks can actually change your mindset. The Harvard study states that “Gratitude helps people refocus on what they have instead of what they lack. And, although it may feel contrived at first, this mental state grows stronger with use and practice.”

As we approach the holidays, it can be a super stressful time, and for some a downright hard time. So what better time to try to combat that than with cultivating a positive mindset?

So with that, I’ve created a printable thankfulness tracker. You can use it to write down your gratitude daily or you can use it to mark off days that you write them down. It’s a blank calendar so you can write down the days of the month and switch it out or you can simply use it blank. Also, I added a little extra space at the bottom for notes or extras that you would want to write down.

I hope you enjoy this thankfulness tracker and that the practice of gratitude adds joy and happiness to your life!
